What's a season? How often do they roll over?+
Three seasons per calendar year, anchored to the wrestling calendar: Spring (Jan -> WrestleMania), Summer (WM -> SummerSlam), Fall (SS -> end of year). Free Standard tier lets you run 1 league per season. Custom ($10) lets you run up to 5 per season. Championship ($20) is unlimited per season.
Is this affiliated with WWE, AEW, or any wrestling company?+
No. Draft Wrestlers is an independent fantasy platform built by fans. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any wrestling promotion. We use real wrestler names the same way fantasy football uses real player names - for the purpose of fantasy gameplay.
How are points actually decided? Who enters the matches?+
League commissioners (or admins for the default leagues) enter match results after the show airs. We're working on automated ingestion from public results sources. Every point earned is logged in an audit trail - disputes are settled by checking the ledger.
What if a wrestler gets released mid-season?+
If they're released or retire, they're marked inactive but stay on your roster. You can drop them and pick up a free agent through normal waivers. Once a season you also get a 'rebrand' - drop 2, pick up 2, no waiver required.
Can I run a league for an indie promotion?+
Yes, with Championship tier. You can add your own wrestlers (GCW, BJW, your backyard fed) and run a league scoped to whoever you've added. Bulk import is supported.
Will there be a mobile app?+
The site is mobile-first and works great in your phone browser. A native iOS/Android app is in the works.
What happens at the end of a season?+
Season ends, totals lock, the winner takes the belt (digital). Standings stay live forever. Start a new league for the next season - or run a league that follows a real-life championship calendar.
